ActiveFX
ActiveFX is a high-energy beam of laser light that is applied to the skin in a fractional pattern, leaving small "bridges" of untouched skin. This technique makes the healing process much faster than traditional CO2 laser resurfacing, but still provides optimal results. The ActiveFX provides immediate collagen contraction, reduces fine lines, noticeably improves skin texture and tone, reduces uneven pigmentation and sun damage, and stimulates new collagen formation.
Results of the treatment can be seen after only one session, but improvement can continue to be seen up to 6 months after the procedure, as collagen formation is a process that builds up gradually over time.
A sensation similar to sunburn is common after the procedure. Downtime is around 4-7 days, but full healing may take longer for some people. The treated skin will begin to flake off within 2 days. Most of the pinkness will be gone in about a week.
