Juvéderm Ultra
Juvéderm Ultra and Juvéderm Ultra Plus are cross-linked hyaluronic acid chains that are formulated to be a very soft, pliant gel. Juvéderm Ultra is usually used in the lips whereas Ultra Plus can be used to volumize and reflate the face in areas of fat loss such as the brows, forehead, zygomatic area, malar area, nasolabial and melomental folds (marionette lines).
Juvéderm can also be used to re-contour the chin and the lower face. These substances have been approved by the FDA and Health Canada. Juvéderm typically lasts 6-8 months. Juvéderm is brought to you by Allergan, the same company that supplies Botox Cosmetic™.
